I'm planning on buying him,i have a good amount of ip saved up.I usually main jg and top and i see ppl play jarvon in those two roles a lot.if theres any champ in the 3150 to 4800 ip range that is tanky and does damage.ls tell me.
He's always solid. He's never unviable tbh
j4 is awesome u can play him tank or assassin sytle good lockdown can almost alwayys blow a flash or get a kill when ganking
J4 is fairly decent if you want a tanky top or jungle with good ganks & decent damage. His clear speeds are still slow compared to Nid & Kindred, but he has great utility even if he's a bit behind.
During a few viewer games on a stream I frequent, we won because I was able to catch one of the enemy carries in my ult before teamfights & turn teamfights into 4v4, even 3v4 a few times despite being 3 to 4 levels behind everybody else. Most of those games, the enemy team had a Plat 3 while highest rank on our team was Gold 4.
I find Gnar is a very good tanky and dps heavy champ. I've been playing him for a while and he's pretty fun being the only character that can transform on a time measure with 8 abilities. He's tanky and can easily burst down other tanky top laners, he's also fairly easy to pick up (combining with your kiting and skill level), 2 bots sessions and I was good to go. Also yes I know this champion is a 6300 IP champ, but trust me it isn't that bad to save up for him, he's really good and atm is being buffed by rito.
I find in low elo is easier and more affective than Lee early game. He has good ganks and awesome damage and builds into a better tank late game
Definitely a good buy. He's very versatile and never really unviable since this introduction to league. Granted it takes more skill to make him work, if you really like a champion, then finding the time to improve is worth it.
Given that recently his shield got buffed, and in the next patch, his attack speed bonus on his flag is getting buffed as well, I'll say go for it.
Not the best champ, but he is fun to play. Id recommend Jayce for high damage and a little tanky.
