After 5 years of playing this game, I am done.

I put it in gameplay, because my deep frustration is connected with the game, not the community. I also can't consider it a rant. I want to say just what I think about this game, since my mind is clear and I am no longer mad.

It is more like a review of this game.

First thing that you do is open up a client right? But if you want to log out, you need to close the client. If you open the client too fast after closing it, the client will crash or be stuck on starting window with "League of Legends" written on it. Then, if you opened the client, animations at the start are too loud, so you mute them and never ever unmute them. Next thing is, the client loads in and what you can see is something quite pretty. League client is beautiful, however it works very poorly. If you have it open on high resolution, you might have bugs or lower performance. So you take a little bit lower resolution just to play the game. If you change interface too much there is a certain set of settings that makes your in-game textures glitch and then you might be unable to play normally or play at all. You avoid them.

Done with client problems.

Next you are level 1, so you need to get to level 30. You start a tutorial. It is completely useless and shows you absolutelly nothing. Then until later levels you have no access to runes and summoner's spells. So new players cannot learn the game properly, because they are misguided since the beginning. Then they get into level 30 and go ranked. They don't even take flash, because it was locked. They don't change runes, because some runes are already made by Riot. They lose. Since level 1 to 30 you get a lot of unneeded shards, instead of having at least a choice of 1 champion for free. A choice, that would make you connected to that champion. Instead they get random champion shards at the start. For example I would gladly choose Shaco or Twitch or Katarina or Anivia as my first champion.

Now real gameplay. SoloQ. When you play soloQ, u want to win every single game. I am done, because of that. I am unable to maintain 80% winrate. I fall to 60% because I get mad at the game too often. It didn't happen in previous seasons, only in S8 and S9. I need to stop playing League. I don't know for how long. Probably until next season, or if Riot actually fixes issues with the game. What I don't like about League now is:

*a lot of broken champions (had to start from this) - in previous seasons you could play Zielan adc and it would work if you were good enough. In season S8 and S9 only meta matters. Don't get me wrong. It was always kinda like that. Only in this season a difference between meta and off-meta is huge. Playing an off-meta champion is almost like inting

*dragons are rng - when you are winning you get ocean, when you are losing enemy gets infernal or earth. Infernal drake should be replaced by another utility dragon. Dragons should be game changing, but not simply making you stronger. Earth is good, because it makes you play around objectives more. Air makes you rotate and roam more. Ocean makes you play slower in teamfights, because you can outheal the enemy. But infernal is different. It makes you stronger and that is it.

*balancing - it doesn't change a bit, so I am used to it. It was always really bad. Just now it matters more than ever. The gap between meta and off-meta makes off-meta picks feel very bad. Almost useless. They can still win and carry. Just the feeling is ... wrong. What I felt when they nerfed jungle was actually sad. It would all feel better if Raptors weren't gangbanging me from each side, rendering me ... stuck in minion block.

*minion block - it feels worse than in S8. It must have been enhanced.

*items - we need more niche items. Everything scales too well. If you buy 1 ap item, you might as well go full ap. Kinda feels braindead. If there was more choice it would benefit everybody. Balancing might be harder. Idk. It would be great tho.

*runes and masteries - many people were trying to convince me that you have more variety with new runes but I just don't get it. With old runes I had rune sets against every opponent. If I played vs zed I could have taken full armor. To me old masteries are literally the same as new runes. You take the same rune page in every match, because it is meta. Old masteries were the same, but you could take runes to make up for that. Now we have choice between 15-90 hp (which is 1/4 of one aa), 6 armour and 7 mr. Also the amount of masteries that you can choose is lower.

*reworks - I like some reworks. But some were bad. They could have changed GP's gameplay, without changing his way of talking and his personality. Urgot was a good rework. Yorick too. Reverting Rengar was a bad thing, however his rework wasn't better. My point is, they should communicate with otp of those characters.

*new champions - overloaded kits. They would be better, if they were simple. A player of that character will of course know every detail, but his enemy won't. I didn't know that Ekko's W is an execute -_- it surely doesn't look like one.

*old champions - I didn't play old Kayle, but when I looked at her, I liked her the way she was. She needed a change, but maybe not a full rework. It isn't even about balance. It is about how I reacted. For some reason, and I don't understand it as well, I hate her now. Didn't play too much of her or with her or even against, but still. When an old champion is changed, I kinda feel ... as if the new one was responsible for old ones death. I blame the rework xd It is completely about me tho. I felt the same about many champions and I still didn't touch them.

*farming - if only it wasn't so easy. We get 40% cdr from items. Everybody. Also we have unlimited mana. Also almost everybody. I prefered when farming, good farming was exclusive for good players, that could last hit perfectly. Now you throw 1-2 abilities at the wave and kill all minions.

*bounty system - shouldn't punish for farming.

*platings - remove them and buff towers. Some champions can't get money from plating and some are abusing platings. Getting 2-3 kills worth of money, because you picked a champion that can farm for free and perma push, while being safe is weird. I probably should abuse it myself, instead of talking about it tho xd

*plants - remove them and give us more wards. I know that some people like them, so I will give some reasons. Healing plants are unneeded. People should buy potions and that investment divides good players, from bad players. Vision plants ... we should just get more vision. More wards and anti-ward options. Information is key in this game, so I would prefer it to be a mechanic in the game. I would love some information war. Maybe throw vision out of supports role and give it to jungle. Leave only green jng item there, so that a roaming role can care about team's vision, instead of unmobile, bound to adc, poor support. His job of guarding that suicidal dumbass is enough to honor him, let me do the warding. Lastly, blast cones. They are weird. I got used to them, but maybe they are just too helpful for gankers.

*old jungle - instead of plants I would prefer old jungle to be back or at least change jungle into something interesting, with a lot of things to do. I like being busy in jungle. Efficient.

*scuttle crab - it walks and jukes me, when I am trying to be as efficient as I can. My champion sucks. I have to be efficient. At least make his route better. Sometimes it jukes a little bit and stops, but sometimes it runes thorugh half of the river. It sucks. I am not safe on the other half, so I can die if I follow him after he dashes too hard. It looks like a bug, because he usually doesn't do it this hard, but sometimes it does.

*meta rotation - some champions are meta for too long. Graves was meta 1st and 2nd place for the entire S8. I remember only Xin, Graves and Kha from that season and we have 100+ champions.

*toxicity - is higher than normal, because people see too much bullshit in their games. I myself get really frustrated when Sylas heals for 60% of his hp in one go. Or when 0/7 Yasuo carries, because he has 2 items. Or when I can't do anything against Udyr, because I didn't pick Rammus. Or when Zoe puts me to sleep and I can only wait to get oneshot. Or when Akali hides from me for eternity and I have to give up on killing her. Or when I play Rammus and Vayne kills me almost instantly. Just as Videogamedunkey said and it still holds "the root of toxicity is the game".

Enough. Those are my thoughts on the game.

Now, why I stayed for this long and tried to deal with my frustration. I wanted to get better. I wanted to hit high ranks. I wanted to win more. Honestly it is an addiction. Like gambling. But when I set my goal on 80% winrate and couldn't keep it up and felt even worse after every lost match. I couldn't play it anymore without inting. I was broken. When you believe in your skill and you cannot do things that you accidently did in previous season, you lose motivation. In this season I am broken and cannot keep playing League. I need to stop playing it for now. I will wait for it to get better. For now I cannot advice anybody to play it.

End of review. It was very subjective, so you might not agree with me on many things. I don't want you to agree. I want you to have fun in this game. Bye.

(if anybody feels like me I advice playing Path of Exile or Apex Legends)

For some reason, a lot of people think that you can't even be in a game if there isn't a garenteed win ahead of you. But whatever happened to just playing a game regardless of the outcome lol? Also, not liking that you dont have an 80% winrate is absolutely absurd lol. The only way you're getting an 80% is if you're playing way better than your current mmr/rank, or you're abusing some kind of crazy strat that hasn't hit main stream yet. Having a 60% winrate is great actually, that shouldn't make you want to quit lmao.

Agreed with:

Balancing Dragons RNG is real, and yes infernal/Mountain are the only ones people give a flip about. I laugh when the enemy team uses teleports and flashes to contest an ocean drake.

Plating on Towers being abuseable by champs with higher aa damage/atk speed (IE: Orianna, Fizz, Trynd) You are winning lane as morgana and when you get to yasuos tower your melting it at a snails pace, then you back at your tower only for him to push the wave up and you come back to a tower with 25% of its health left..... the fuck? he just got his farm back in plating! Rewarded for me leaving? lol...

Bounty System- Broken as fuckkkkkkkk, you farm well and have a bounty? you oppress the enemy team with higher skill and have bounty? This Bounty system is in place to make games take forever.

Jungle - I think we need LESS to think about in the jungle, and haveing to contest scuttle because its so damn valuable is stupid, (100g+river vision). Jungle as it is feels like there are just TOO MANY damn objectives and its hard to know which one you should be securing at any given time. The only thing you can do at this point in the game is do what everyone else does, vertical jungle and try to contest scuttles and pinking herald/dragons. Its lame as fuck, and its predictable for BOTH junglers. This is why the state of the game is the way it is because back in the old days junglers did a full clear and the had a good 1 minute before their shit started respawning to question themselves on what lane they would like to try to gank or sneak into the enemy jungle to fight them.

Disagreed with: Rengar Revert being bad, he was in a terrible spot before they gave him his Q aa RESET back.

My Own ideas:

Meta Change: I would love for there to not even have a meta exist. Play the champ you want to play where you want to play them at. I don't know how this could be a thing, or if it can ever be that utopia... its a nice thought.

Ocean makes you play slower in teamfights, because you can outheal the enemy.

The game has poor information. Ocean only heals you OUT OF COMBAT.

So it still kinda does shit.

*items - we need more niche items. Everything scales too well. If you buy 1 ap item, you might as well go full ap. Kinda feels braindead. If there was more choice it would benefit everybody. Balancing might be harder. Idk. It would be great tho.

Thats where defense itemization being comparable to offence items made the game interesting. Its also what made assassins feel like shit to play because you couldn't 100-0 someone through a defense item. Riot picked assassins over general balance.
