Playing lock screen vs unlocked. Which is better? Thoughts? For shits and giggles debate

First of all, let me make disclaimer. I'm not a competitive player. I've played since season 1.5ish and I've played less than 10 ranked games. Majority of my games are normal solo queue games. I don't take this game seriously enough to play competitively. I also don't want to take my casual attitude and mix in with the more competitive players in ranked. With that being said, I don't consider myself a bad player. I know how majority of the champions function, I don't main just one role, and I can land majority of my skill shots.

Now that that's out of the way, which do you guys think is better? Locked or unlocked screen? I prefer locked because it forces me to be aware of my immediate surroundings at all times. I also feel like it gives me a good gauge on my skill shots because it gives me the same radii of range all around. Lastly, it's one less button I have to press. I personally like being more aware of what my immediate surroundings are. Yes, I do get tunnel vision every now and then because of it but because I used to main Shen back in season 2 and playing lock screen, that's seldom an issue for me. I also like that it allows me to kind of envision a permanent circle around my champion for any skill shots and allows me to keep and maintain the ability to judge velocity of different champions in my vicinity to fire skill shots. Lastly, I don't have to worry about constantly tapping or holding the spacebar in team fights. Yes, it's only one button to be cognizant of but, I'm sure a lot of you can agree, when team fights break out, a lot of things go out the window.

Yes, you can argue, "But, Tev, what about map awareness?" I usually just click and hold the mouse on the minimap on what I want to see. I think it's convenient because the moment I let go, it snaps back to me. I think that's the main issue of locked versus unlocked, the comparison of awareness. Unless, I'm missing much more? I don't know. Please enlighten me.

Your thoughts? Counter argument? I'm not here to say one is better than the other. I personally don't care if one is better than the other. I just personally prefer locked. This is just made out of spare time and curiosity.

I prefer locked when moving and in teamfights, but I've gotten used to unlocking my camera when scoping out the map or aiming long ranged abilities.
