Giving Mid Laners the Rift Herald Buff...

Disclaimer: I wish I could post this on the PBE forum but I don't have a PBE account so this will have to do.

What's to stop the jungler/top from giving the RH buff to their mid laner? It sounds pretty broken to give this to pretty much any mid laner that cares about damage, movespeed, and taking towers. (All of them.)

I suppose it's powerful to give to top laners too in a way, but regardless it seems pretty beneficial to use this in a way that way that wasn't intended.

What solutions could fix this?

most midlaners are ap with no sieging power unless u azir with a couple items

Champs deal AA damage + a percentage of their AP, so basically all they lack is attack-speed during most stages of the game. They also tend to push much better than top-laners.

And considering this buff makes your creeps baron creeps.. Getting that early on as a mid that can push is pretty powerful. Not to mention, you know, AD mids. Zed and Yasuo have no problem taking towers.
