So if I use my Q on someone who got a spell shield from Morgana It wont do the initial damage? If so That's physical damage not magic damage. Wow. I hope I'm comprehending these patch notes correctly, cause so far I have been reading lots of bullshit. sorry.

It was dealing damage when it wasn't supposed to. Example: Someone had item 3102 passive spell shield up or Sivir had hers up and it dealt damage when it shouldn't have.

Against Morgana 's Black Shield it will deal damage due to it being only able to block CC and Magic damage.
