Why is Diana allowed to be OP and Akali is not?

Akali offers way more counterplay than Diana still for like 2 years now Diana is allowed to be OP while Akali got nerfed several times.

Diana can fuck up her combo. Akali can't. You can dodge Diana's combo. You can't dodge Akali's.

That + Diana being less resistant to being peeled off is why she's allowed to be good.

Diana's R can only dash once, twice if she hits Q. Akali can dash 3 times.

diana also has knockup and shield btw.

And akali has invisibility and AOE slow. They are different champions, you can't compare them. Akali has higher mobility and two escape tools. Akali has way more utility in her kit than Diana. Diana doesn't have any reliable escape once she dashes in with R.
