Will pre-season affect next season ranking?

So will pre-season affect next seasons ranking. I know your placements will too even if you do super well you wont be the same division you were last season.

Yes. Not as much as last seasons final rank will, but it'll still slightly influence things.

So don't just troll preseason, since that's how a number of people found themselves starting bronze despite whatever not-bronze rank during the main season.

So i was in silver 2 last season and really never played ranked. And lets say i get to Plat in preseason will i be placed in gold next season. My MMR in normals is really high.
