I thought there was a 3 game loss buffer at 0lp before you drop a tier?

I've made it to Silver 1 three times this season, and every time I've lost a game at 0 lp and dropped back down to Silver 2 (started ranked two months ago).

Now I've been stuck between a constant thing of making it to Silver 1 series, losing at 0lp, dropping to Silver 2, making the series again, winning the series, losing at 0lp, dropping back to Silver 2, etc. (x3)

I swear I thought this was a thing, unless rito thinks I should be in bronze and don't deserve a 3 game loss buffer

when you get to a new base rank of any elo, you can lose any amount of game with no change. for example, getting silver 5 for the first time then 5347 losses in a row will not demote you, but 1 win followed by 3 losses will result in a demotion.

EDIT; most of this is wrong sorry, 10 losses in a row not unlimited.
