These aren't the PBE boards

So stop crying about tentative stuff on the PBE. If you want influence over things on the beta, actually play it and give real and well-reasoned feedback on the PBE boards. There's a reason Riot reads the threads on there and not the whining threads here. Whenever Riot tries to explain anything here it's instantly downvoted regardless of meaning. Why would they want to return or further elaborate in such a hostile environment which frets and frets about changes in a game that's free? Don't be shocked when your Gameplay and Balance thread doesn't get a red response because you've conditioned them to not leave one. Actual discussions take place on the PBE board as opposed to the rampant complaints and instances of hindsight bias that take place here. For those who would like to do something instead of complaining.... Here's the link https://pbesignup.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/pbe-signup

I can't even fathom a reason they're contemplating the Smite changes. It really exemplifies a weak grasp on game design, considering the justification they gave for considering it.

"Tentative", when 99.9% of them go through regardless?

Good point in the PBE boards though.

Problem: you have to apply to be on the PBE before you can sign up (unless I missed something). Most of us can't discuss things on the PBE boards because we don't have accounts there and it's not a simple signup, although I agree that a person should probably try to apply before just QQ'ing here.

I think actual discussion is OK, and that there is nothing wrong with theoretical conjecture based on what we read on Surr@20, but people should remember that it's theoretical until they get to play it.

And how often do the people on the PBE come here to tell us that they reported bugs and made suggestions that Riot just ignored? All the freaking time! I really don't feel that Riot runs the PBE as a testing ground for changes, but instead as a system to make sure that nothing is actually broken with their changes (like, the skill no longer works or things that absolutely cannot go through). I have no faith that Riot considers the suggestions that their players input on the PBE.

I'm just hoping that these Mordekaiser changes turn out to be better than what I see in them. Only continued play on the PBE and eventually on the Live servers will tell if the changes were good or not.
