Not like she's one of the most picked Top laners who can beat pretty much every single lane that isn't Poppy and even she can't kill her. She's supposed to be a "Hard to play & Master" champ and yet she hasn't been hard to pick up for ages. She's way too safe and does too much in the hands of players who barely play her. Up her CDs somewhere please, she's not a Champ that should be allowed to sit at a high win AND playrate. Same with Vayne but everyone knows that she's op atm.

I don't really enjoy playing vs her either but let's be real here...she is definitely one of the harder champs to master and anyone who says she isn't, hasn't played her. Also stop spreading nonsense like Riven "can beat pretty much every single lane that isn't Poppy". She has alot of hard lane matchups including Renekton, Jayce, Quinn, Kennen, Lissandra or Volibear and also matchups that she can win but are not really in her favor like Irelia or Kayle.

She is balanced right now.

She is completely useless in inexperienced hands, but when played perfectly is extremely dominant; though not 100% unmanageable.

huh what says hard to play about riven? pretty simple combo q auto auto with some w's 'e with auto being after a q ulti to win? as always get good i guess because if you have to trouble with top lane riven maybe you shouldn't be top laner?

It's really just the fact that she's impossible to either chase OR run away from, since she essentially has 4 mobility spells on absurdly low cooldowns. Even if you do reach her/turn around to face her, she stuns/knocks you up; she even has an AoE execute. It may be fun for the Riven player to be both hypermobile with damage, CC, and a lot of durability with her shield, but Riven has always been a really poor example of proper balance. She spaghettis all over you and if the RIven player in question is sufficiently good enough there is very little you can do about it.

Not even reading OP. Whats with this riven qq. Really just pick a tank ANY tank you want. Rush a sunfire cape gg riven can't do anything to you in lane anymore. Just don't feed her let her push the lane by making her dash through the minion wave to harass you. There you go lane pushing at your turret and you can farm and she can't do anything to stop you from outscaling her,

First off - Nerf CotC

Second, her cooldowns are already pretty damn high. It's only because she gets so much cdr that she gets 4-5 second CD's on E and W, and 45% CDR Q is still 6 seconds. It's also probably an illusion, because she's spacing her Q's which makes it look like she's always using an ability - and she might be! but one ability of Riven's isn't very powerful on it's own, it takes at least all three of her basic skills to compete with most others.

The buff to her R seemed like it would be too strong, but it turned out to be alright. I really like laning against her. I've been added by many RIven mains because they seem to enjoy the way our laning phase turned out as well. And honestly, she is one of the reasons (Irelia, panth, etc are among the others), that keeps some of the ranged cancer from being played in the top lane (like ashe, cait, etc). It is unfortunate that she doesn't keep all ranged cancer from being played in the top lane.
