Zed help?

Hey guys, I'm a jungle and top main, and recently picked up zed as my midlaner. I liked his play style and I can perform fairly decently with him. I was wondering if you guys could give me any tips in general. Also, I tried out a couple different builds but I wanna know what you guys play. Should he be more bursty and assassin like or do some sustained damage? Ive also seen the crit zed build but havent tried it out yet. What do you guys think?

The most important thing you should know about Zed is, he is balanced! Don't let people tell you other wise. Any champions that are extremely overpowered is a result of Zed's balanced state.

Not worth it

Contrary to all the hate he's actually really hard to be useful with (Note: high KDA =/= useful)
He sucks yet people still hate on him, so when you feed which is going to be like 80% of the time you also look really bad
