Can Riot Response Katarina Revert?

Well Katarina revert is a hot subject for at least 4 last months there is so many posts about Katarina revert and riot seems like doesn't care at all but there is a lot players have hope about her revert and they are so emotional about it include my self.In my opinion this is brutal and i believe riot should share their thoughts about the topic and give us an answer about it .Lets assume something about her rework 1) she feels slow and clunky 2)She doesn't have her identity as an assassin and feels more like a mage 3)She is less fun than she used to be for a lot players 4)Players who love old katarina feel really upset because they lost their favorite champion and i want say here that the most important thing about playing a game is having fun and entertainment, and not feel upset about how game changed from something that you loved to something completely different that makes you upset and sad playing because it is something which is very serious happens.I want state here that video was a aprils fool joke from Flyerbek but the important thing here is how much emotional and sad players were at the comments about this joke because it wasn't true this shows how much a lot players want her revert .Have a nice day/night

Can graves get a revert too, he was one of the more fun marksman not this abomination we have with him being a busted jungler.

In terms of the design philosophy behind Reverting a Rework, it's all about whether the Rework accomplished it's intended goal.

Rengar: The rework caused him to be unable to assassinate, and made him closer to a bruiser than an assassin. The goal was to make him less of a pain to play against, the result was he became a bruiser not an assassin.

Leblanc: The rework was designed to emphasize her thematic, fix her lane phase and make her a more reliable assassin. The result was she CCed people for 6 seconds straight, played more as a kite mage and her wave clear was absurdly strong on release, resulting in a nerf and making her near unplayable.

Katarina: The idea here was to Emphasize her thematic, make her have more obvious skill expression and lower her burst window. These were all accomplished, she still stayed an assassin, she just got better at it, her waveclear is better as well making roaming on her easier and her burst window is reasonably longer but not to long like Leblanc's was or Rengar's was.

Basically if a rework changes a champion in a way that doesn't accomplish what it was meant to, this applies to Mini-Reworks only, it get's reverted or changed a little bit to put the champion back where their supposed to be. In addition if the mini-rework ends up causing a champion to be absurdly strong, first it gets nerfed, buffed, then nerfed again, maybe another buff but eventually get's reverted in favor a more easy to balance itteration(see Kog'Maw).

I certainly wouldn't be surprised if we posted a dev blog to talk about these exact things. Leblanc, kat, etc all have been through the emotional ringer so to speak. I would love to read a dev blog about what the thought process is on how / why champs get reverted.

If they revert Katarina they might as well revert Evelynn and Shaco. Evelynns reworked went really well and accomplished all the goals, just like kata's so there is the connection. In Shaco's case... Well the kit is too good to fail in both version so why not just turn him back into an actual assassin. (Notice that this is not about actually reverting any of these two, but about how stupid I find the idea of reverting katarina).

Why would anyone want Katarina reverted? The new one is both better designed and more playable than the old one, both when playing with and against her.

My own problem with the new katarina is that even though the new dagger system is doing its job in terms of gameplay, it just looks/feels too silly for me to take it seriously. I just wish they came up with a system that I could take seriously.

New katarina is far more interactive and strong than old katarina while living way better on her fantasy, she is always a matter of number and her kit is 'kinda' unique compared to other assassin.

Also leblanc revert is an aberration.

I for one have never had more fun than playing the current Katarina. I've been playing Kat for as long as I can remember and have been playing the game for over 6 years. The new Kat is better in literally every way I can think of. She's never been more balanced and her new kit is perfect for her. The old katarina was the definition of a binary champion who had one goal, wait till cc was used and then press all your buttons. Katarina's current kit requires more skill and has more skill expression in it allowing for experienced Kat players to really show off how much time they've invested in playing her. Playing old Kat felt so bad and she almost never left the laning phase with a lead and she was so easily abused. Even now her laning isn't the greatest, but at least she has room to make plays and win the lane if the player is skilled enough. Reverting her would be a complete discgrace in my opinion and would only bring her back to a more unbalanced state. The only thing that could potentially be weaker about new kat is her burst window. But if Riot feels it could be made quicker then they could easily do so by making the dagger drop timing scale down with champion level so the daggers fall quicker and she can pick them up quicker the later the game goes. I personally think her new kit is better in every aspect.

Ok, an assassin is supposed to be fast and kill their opponents in a blink. The new reworked Kat is visually shit and a little mechanically since the blade drop just goes way too slow, allowing your opponent to act before you can wipe them out. You call that an assasin? Talon's W as well, now there's a freagin delay on W.

I would like it if Riot could Revert both the Aatrox and Akali reworks and make these new champions new champions with different names and do a future visual update.
