8 out of 9 last ranked match at least 1 afk or feeder or just bad player. before enterin ranked poll

I understand there out there. I have worked up form b5 to s3 ( now s4 about to be s5). In silver now im seeing more of these types than in bronze. I don't understand how its possible. I play good and usually do good but one person can not win alone. The recent people I have been playing with have no understanding in ganks, wards, mias, positioning, focusing, team fights, what the role they are playing requires and simple don't dive the tower or go in with 200 hp. taken me over 200 games to get to s3 from b5 because of people like this. Cant understand how these people are in silver ( I know its not that great but still). Should see a difference in skill from one set to the other. also getting matched with bronze 1-2 being in s3. Anyone else have this problem and if you did how did you advance? I do duo some probably 50% of the time but it seem like the likeliness of these types gets higher when I duo. any advise would help. would also like opinions about the poll question
