Can anyone offer some tips for mastery grades?

I've recently started playing League again, and the mastery 6 and 7 levels are new to me. I'm excited to get my favourite champs there, so I've been trying. I have a few games recently (mainly support) where I feel like I excelled enough for an S, but I keep getting that lovely A+. I'm not entirely sure what goes into your grade, a list might be beneficial, but most support games in my history I've placed between 30 and 40 wards, more than anyone else in the game. I have low deaths, high assists, and usually 2-4 kills. I use items that help my teammates item 3222 item 3800 item 3050 item 3401 . The two main supports I'm playing most are Lulu Blitzcrank . I'm aware winning helps, kda helps, and it's based on the average performance of other NA players playing that same champ in the same role. Is there more?

Thanks in advance. :)

as a support you want to strive to get at least 2 kills (yeah its ksing, but it gets you the mastery rating)

0, count em, thats right, 0 deaths

and hopefully its a longish game so you eventually end up with more cs than the average support player.

those are the main ways a support gets rating, there are other factors too like warding, and ward kills, but they will not have as major of an influence over your mastery rating.

A 3/5/31 and a 6/2/13 with braum both got me a S+ and a S

Basically here's the factors that I see referenced regularly.

KDA Kill Participation Percentage Involvement in taking of objectives Performance comparative to others playing the same champion

The fun thing though is that you get super awkward ratios with them as well.

You could have double digit deaths, decimating your KDA, but you're involved in most of the kills, which offsets it.

Biggest factor I've noticed in an S rank is doing well compared to your lane opponent.

If you go 1/1/20 with 15 CS as a support but your opponent goes 1/1/20 with 15 CS: you're going to get a mediocre grade. If you go 1/1/20 with 15 CS and your opponent goes 0/10/3 with 8 CS: you're probably going to get an S.
