darius isn't gold, if he is gold he wouldn't farm so well. gold player would miss at least 5 cs in 3 waves

Xin isn't that tanky in the beginning of the game either and lacks any form of poke.

he is compared to darius in terms of base stats, the only thing xin zhao has higher is movespeed.

Melee champions should always avoid:

getting hit most of the time by Darius's outer Q.
long fights with him, since Darius will indeed be at advantage if you're squishier.
cs-ing minions which are too close to Darius. Better just sacrifice it & get the experience off it at least.

And in terms of this video's case, Xin should have either just stayed in the jungle (or pick other lanes), or stop being a cocky idiot for diving on him too much.
