Didn't get demoted? why is that?

Ranked flex 5v5, silver 4, after my LP reached 0, I lost 6 games in a row after that, but I didn't get demoted to bronze. Why is that?

The range to demote from division 4 is absolutely massive because folks feel really bad about it. I had to sink down to gold 5 - gold 4 averages the year I got demoted from Plat 5, s6 to be specific. The LP slant was brutal once I got out. Dropped to G2 and gave up on the season, the one and only year I ever finished with a negative win rate on Bard , something I regret not trying to fix.

Your MMR must've been pretty damn high is the only logical conclusion I can think of.
