garen was cancer after his rework for a long time. got nerfed to the ground

gnar was cancer after release, got repeatedly nerfed in his damage/cooldowns until balanced

katarina is cancer if she's last picked against a low cc comp

kled is cancer because 3k base hp, insane damage ratios, and awesome surviveability

rek'sai was cancer on release and got nerfed 13 times since.

renekton was THE cancer of top lane in s2-s3

rengar snowballs insanely hard off of one kill.

Riven is always cancer. i don't care what you say. animation cancelling is cancer.

Rumble is literally the hardest champion to play out of this list, and takes a ton of effort to actually carry

shyvana was cancer with sated, was cancer with cinderhulk pre-nerf, and had been jungle cancer since release. top lane's a different story entirely

tryndamere is cancer in the sense that if you leash your top laner while he farms, you're fucked. post 6 in general and you're fucked. the split push god.

yasuo? are you kidding? the guy who can mitigate all ranged damage coming from a direction? with cancer double crit, and cancer shield for running around? this guy may not be OP right now, but he's definitely still cancer.

You aren't. A good team will have a pink ward mid game, and late game they're always grouped up so Rengar's pick potential is extremely limited to predicting enemy movements and waiting desperately for some squishy carry to walk alone in their jg unwarded.

Exhaust can be cast on him while he jumps, and when he lands, and if the jump was at max range, that gives you at least a second to complete negate his burst potiential. Furthermore, Since the Q nerf, it's literally impossible to one shot unless you are at your IE powerspike and get a lucky crit with static Shiv. The only one shot you can do is if you are insanely ahead, otherwise, you lead with snare.

A pink ward placed allows your team to surround him and cc him while he tries to travel to your carry, and since the R nerf, it is insanely easy to do this.

Zonyas screws him.

For the reasons stated above, Rengar OTP almost never get past Master, and the one that did, the best Rengar player in the world, dropped him for these reasons and the digusting bola nerf. When the best Rengar players in the world with thousand plus games on him are still not landing it consistently, due to the inherent buggy nature of it combined with the fact that it is easily sidestepped by STILL just walking into Rengar, and it causing the best Rengar player NA to blatantly quit him in favor of Riven, you have a problem.
