The mage rework changed how his passive worked and few tweaks to his other abilities. Now we recently have had changes done to Ap itemization and almost all of the items are his core items.
Now to the main point,
feels awful to play. His is the epitome of a immobile artillery mage, all abilities are skillshots, and these days every could other champion has gap closers and dashes. I remember that if you put 2 points into W and 1 into E, you could 1shot the caster minions. Now i have to use a full rotation WITH a piece of item (except lost chapter) to clear the wave, and if the minions are not in the 3 1 3 formation with siege in the middle i just am dead in the water with long cooldowns. Without wave clear is much needed for any champion with his gameplay design.
Lastly getting passive proc on ulti feels so bad when everyone can dash out dodge, flash , mobility champions are soo much prevalent nowdays. It just makes his ultimate soo unreliable that rooting yourself for its duration is not worth at all.
Can, whoever is responsible for
, look into him and see if can get some QOL changes, i am not asking for buffs, i just want to see if there is something that can be done to bring him back to his glory.
