Alright I just tested out zed in a game against a Katarina Supposedly he counters Katarina so I figure easy game right? As we hit 6 I get the first kill When SHE comes back and I come back she gets me.. Why because KATARINA HAS BOUGHT A HOURGLASS AKA zhonyas. How is Zed suppost to counter Katarina or ANY AP MAGE IN THE GAME OF MIDS when he has no way to Beat them when he goes all in. IF ZED SAY GOES IN ON AN AHRI 18 minutes into the game.. She will have Zhonyas to counter his damage and ult.. AND ONCE HE GOeS ALL IN he has no way to escape.. Riot are u going to do anything for zeds currently really bad situation right now? His energy is horrible it just is.. not to mention you need to help Zed directly with the zhonyas his only choice in the game right now is mostly early assassin from what i have seen. Please Post your Comments further down in this thread Should zed be buffed? Or should zed not be buffed? Just Look at his Playstyle and his role as an (ASSASSIN) how is he suppost to effectively kill anyone that uses AP Ex. Morgana, Akali, Kat all mids even annie if they always ALWAYS get zhonyas Look at ranked people always get zhonyas against a zed.. In your opinion again should zed be buffed soon? Please post your thoughts into this thread on whether he should be buffed or not. Again if im missing something on how Zed an assassin (his role) is suppost to kill single targets who have zhonya's hourglass and built in escapes WHEN a ZED all ins a target with his ult please tell me what im doing wrong. Thank You.

I'm sorry, I want to start off by saying who lied to you and said Zed counters Kat? That is a skill match up. Second, why did you not buy Hexdrinker? Third, please don't exaggerate, Kat didn't go back at six, AFTER DIEING and instantly have a zhonya. she might of had pieces of it, but not a full Zhonya.

A friend of mine who used to main zed.. I literally was focused the entire game and I was blamed in the game for losing because i could no longer kill Katarina But you are not focusing on the point of this thread Should Zed be helped against AP casters and players who are AP mid? You only focused on katarina not the point im trying to make.. Think what a Zhonyas can do to zed in a 1v1.. when he ults or engages and the Champions all have escape mechanics now to kite him. Kat did not go back at 6.. because i Killed her read the first post of the thread we dont fight because she plays passive for the next 8,10 minutes and (TRIES) to roam) Im not exaggerating Im giving you a legitimate example.

Yes this was 18 minutes in It was one of my test games as Zed even if i had hex drinker and i will admit it didnt occur to me at that stage of the game to buy a hexdrinker What happens after? after i say for example ult her she presses zhonyas then she Q W e Ults me back? my hex drinker wont stop all of that even if i have flash..

Certain champions get countered by certain items, why is it fair that Malzahar gets countered out by QSS? And it would have stopped plenty, every spell she does, does less damage on top of the shield you would have gotten.

the problem is that zed doesn't need his ult,s damage in the slightest to kill any squishy in the game come mid-game and later on, since his base skills deal so much damage by themselves, and as an AD has the advantage of autoattacks that hurt like a truck. Zhonyas won't help against a zed if you're 1v1 because he can just wait it out, throw his E+Q+auto+bork combo and you've instantly taken over 2.5k damage, almost 3k if zed gets a lucky ghostblade crit

a kit that has a point and click "i,m untargettable, then next to you for instant 2.5k damage, amplified by 50% if you don't have zhonyas or QSS" does cause problems for almost every champ in the game

are you REALLY complaining about zed having a hard time against AP ?

really??? you do know hes pretty much DESTROYING every mid , from every archetype out there mid right? if anything , he needs nerfs not buffs , theres a reason he continues to be banned most every game much like fizz but at least fizz has a mana bar

First of all im not a Zed main IT WAS MY FIRST TIME ZED I just did research on him before actually playing him I didnt know everything and how is every zed beating just Every ap mid? Im honestly confused it seems like a tricky game if the zed builds hexdrinker and the ap builds zhonyas.. and WHY DOES HE NEED TO BE NERFED NERF ZED....?

Zed already has help vs AP casters... Zed doesn't have a mana bar. You could always wait until they have no mana...

If an opponent has Zhonya's, you have to bait it out before going all in. Higher level play isn't about out playing, it's about coaxing your opponent into making a mistake, and capitalizing on it.
