Let's talk about Yasuo.

As a Yasuo main with over 100,000 mastery points with him, I have a few things to say about him that are extremely frustrating to play against.

When I play Yasuo I don't want people to roll their eyes and dread the fact that they have to fight such a frustrating champion. There are a few issues and key points with Yasuo that need to be brought to attention. Let's dissect them!

** Wind Wall.** Let's start here.

  1. I think the duration lasts a little too long. Four seconds is more than enough time to shut down any projectile, or a slurry of projectiles coming your way. I think the duration should be reduced to 2 early game, picking up pace as you put levels into the skill, making it still viable, but not as painful to go against, especially if you are an ADC.
  2. I do not think that the wall width needs to increase with levels. Riot themselves has said that Wind Wall was designed to protect Yasuo, and that Wind Wall protecting allies was just a side effect. Well I'm pretty sure by level 18, Yasuo doesn't turn into a giant. (not including item 2138 ;) )
  3. The way it interacts with large projectiles is questionable. Mentioned in the Nami Ultimate thread, Yasuo's Wind Wall negating the WHOLE projectile is honestly extremely unfun and unfair. What I think it should do, is allow the blocked portion of the projectile to be negated, while the unblocked portion continues traveling. Yes, this requires projectiles to be able to be split up. HOWEVER, I do not think it makes sense for solid projectiles, such as Enchanted Crystal Arrow, and Super Mega Death Rocket, to be split. I think those projectiles, upon contact of Wind Wall, warrant an immediate negation. Fluid Projectiles, such as Tidal Wave and Trueshot Barrage, deserve to split upon contact with only a portion of Wind Wall, staying true to their fluid nature.

Last Breath. My only issue with this ability is the fact that it can activate with questionable "air time" status on the enemy. Like a Thresh's Death Sentence, or a Syndra's Scatter the Weak. I don't think it is very logical for these abilities to proc Yasuo's ult, because no where does it even look remotely close to them being tossed up into the air.

These are my main points as a Yasuo main with a lot of time to think about his kit and why it is frustrating as hell to fight against sometimes. Please critique, comment, and discuss!

Sadly you will just get downvotes despite your valid points

TL;DR: Wind Wall should not get bigger as you level it, it should not last as long as it does, and it shouldn't fully disintegrate fluid projectiles like Trueshot Barrage or Tidal Wave upon the slightest contact with Wind Wall. Last Breath shouldn't work on dumb things that make no sense like Thresh's Death Sentence or Syndra's Scatter the Weak

I just wish that Riot would implement a dynamic buff/debuff updated weekly. If a champion's pick rate goes over a certain threshold all damage/healing/shield etc get reduced by a %, and all damage taken by them increases by a %, longer cooldowns, etc. Yeah its a bullshit mechanic, but whatever it takes to enforce variety I always say.

In a competitive environment most people are gonna tryhard, that is human nature. You gotta basically punch them in the balls to enforce variety.

Yasuo's ult is proc'ed by any displacement really, I have never seen Death Sentence work with it but Flay does. Yasuo's wall should probably just get a higher CD so when it gets to late game you have to be really careful with when you use it and even in laning phase. I do agree with your fluid objects splitting points but you need to understand that to make that work and have the animations would take a lot of time and effort from Riot to change 1 ability for 1 Champion. They would have to change any champion with a fluid projectile to make that work.
