And a diamond player has addressed the issue in low Eli matchmaking at the thread has received over 500 up votes, will we possibly see a change to the matchmaking system that possibly does away with MMR completely? It would be 100x better if league used a system like tekken, you play only people in your league. Things would even out after promos very quickly and there would be less confusion. The community acknowledges there is a problem, especially where the system PURPOSELY stacks the odds against you if your win rate goes too far above 50% to try to keep you at 50%. That definitely needs to go. We have confirmed there is a problem, it's up to riot to fix it.
