I have tried her out a few times and have had no success. The best I could do was two camps on my first clear and then play catch up for the rest of the game. If anyone has gotten a decent start with her, please share the secrets to your success so that the rest of us can enjoy our perma-stealth assassin once more.
To be honest, just don't bother. Believe me, I enjoyed playing her a whole lot, however her nerfs combined with the new jungle make her pretty much unplayable right now. There seriously isn't any point in playing her, as she doesn't do anything better than other junglers. I believe she's in line for a rework, and while it sucks to wait, sometimes you just have to put up with it.
Red start with a GOOD leash from botlane, smite when you are less than 80% hp. Straight to wolves, be sure to kite and abuse the soft resets until your E is back off cooldown and you can use the attack-speed buff. Hit blue buff and kite between cooldowns, then go get scuttle crab. If kited right you can be at 80% or higher after scuttle crab and you're ready to gank.
masteries are 21-9 and runes are AD Marks AP Quints and Glyphs Armor Seals
I love Evelynn as a jungler but currently she falls behind quite a few others. If played right she can still get the drop on someone and you can snowball out of control, but it's much harder with the new jungle camps. Biggest thing is either killing the enemy jungler or getting some early lane kills, otherwise you'll quickly fall behind in gold and xp and will have to build tank and be a walking ward.
Last Evelynn I saw decided to take Red Buff first, heal up, and eat the enemy's Jungler. Invisibility is funny.
