Champions that require a lot of skill should be much more powerful when played correctly than someone easy to play. For example a fiora should be able to beat a soraka top. Or any top laner should be able to beat soraka. Yet soraka is literally unbeatable in lane and when you're close to beating her their jungler just kills you anyway so???? Nerf raka
Fiora and Skill. You can only choose one bro. If you play a champion that actually does take skill for example 
and you can repeatedly solo kill her and zone her off the wave permanently into a slow push into a dive, into her missing 20 minions and you taking top turret. Go on to absolutely dominate the game 1v5.

This isn't Soraka top being OP, its you well frankly, not playing good. If you're playing Fiora into Soraka, understand what your wincon is. Two ways to play it. Either play for Soraka to mess up and let you solo kill her. You rush executioners, freeze the wave, bait her into overextending, then if she does you can attempt to kill her. Or you play to scale and play passively, probably cull first back into manamune ( yes it's actually a good game to build manamune if you dont int ) into triforce ravenous hydra, and take over the mid and late game with split pushing. They have no one on their team that can match you because their comp is four ranged squishies and a squishy bruiser that is their jungler.
How are you dying that many times as fiora against a soraka of all things? Soraka has literally zero kill pressure. She should never be in range of killing you. This isn't a "soraka OP" or "fiora weak" problem. This is a "you" problem.
Skill champs already have the advantage of superior mechanics, which means they have answers to more situations, and they have more choices. They dont need more power as well.
