ADC falling out of impact?

Is it just me or does adc seem to feel REALLY unimpactful lately. And I don't mean stuff like "o, but blubuild ez is rly impactful" I mean stuff like, "o wow, the adcs fed, maybe we should target them instead of having one assassin be able to one shot them" before, adcs used to be about splitting, teamfighting and consistent damage. Now, don't get me wrong, I love adc, (2nd role) and ppl like Lucian and my new personal favorite (jhin) are all really fun to play, but I just feel like everything got centered around them in the preseason and now they just go buttpounded by all assassins and tanks. Again, im not saying assassins or tanks are op, (well, maybe tank fizz, etc, but they nerfed that this pactch :D) because as an assassin main, I know how hard it is to actually successfully carry out a well done kill, without consequences. Anyone elses thouhgts? TELL ME :D btw if u want, my usernames 4789 :^)[slayer-jinx-wink]

Maybe I'll believe that when one class doesn't dominate bot lane carry while simultaneously being allowed to lane almost everywhere else.

I think that the bot lane role has become less popular. It feels like bot lane is the least popular role with the exception of support. I can't tell if this is because ADCs are having less impact. The ADC rework was supposed to make marksmen more diverse, but what I think happened is that players now like to play ADCs in other positions besides bot lane and that this is more rewarding because you aren't tied into a bot lane duo that leaches exp and where getting the better support determines if you will win the lane or not.
