Scared to play ranked.
I want to play ranked, climb and earny LP, but im scared to even queue up because I know its just going to be a roll of dice and that It wont matter If I play well. And spamming normal games feels like a waste of my effort.

I'm pretty sure 90% of people that play ranked have hit their head against the wall so many times they don't care if the game is a win or lose, they just hope the end comes
normals are 10x more fun than ranked. I am here to enjoy the game, not kill myself.
it's not a waste of effort, its how you learn. Even challengers lose and have bad games. Remember that you are the only constant in the game and that if you're greatly contributing you'll win more than you lose.
So don't be afraid and give it a go! there's no shame in being bronze or iron. its a starting point for everyone.
Honest question - are you having fun when you play?
I'm the type of player who will feel gratified in my own performance rather than being frustrated at my team. If someone does badly on my team, I'm more likely to laugh it off rather than blame 'bad luck' or something. In that sense, I'm at a point now where (as a new player) not faceplanting and walking out with less than 10 deaths is a victory for me even when I lose. I've been working to slowly improve over time and I went from feeling confident...to being crushed into the ground...and then slowly becoming more confident again with some help from the community. It's a very natural (and heroic/narrative) sort of cycle.
