Sometimes your account is just too ruined for you to move up any further (Proof inside)

So.. Since season 3. I stayed in bronze for like 2 seasons. Then after that I finally made it into silver on a smurf account.

For a long time, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't move up. I also watched others in my similar elo do incredibly well also unable to move up. They farmed great. They knew how to ward. Drags barons. I could clearly tell some of these people didn't belong in bronze or silver. They just had bad luck.. or did they.

I need confess something. I am currently a reformed player. I have had so many accounts perma banned because of my toxicity. So after leveling up accounts for months. I figured something out. Normal MMR determines where you place when you do your placements. So depending on how well you play, if you play good you'll usually place in high silver and in some cases gold. Everytime around lvl 25 I would started playing normal draft with gold's plats, and sometimes diamonds. I couldn't figure out how in the hell i'm playing against these people but can't even get out of bronze 2.

On this account, i'm currently gold 3. I've NEVER been that high up. I started off in silver 2 4 days ago. I skipped gold 4 completely. I gain 28 lp per win still.

Long story short, on my madhatter777 account and also yshservant account I couldn't move up no matter what I did. I would always get placed on the lower skilled team. And yes.. the match making system will purposely put you on the less skilled team so you'll have a lower chance of winning. Some games you aren't meant to win. It's never going to be exactly even. I always check my MMR via lolnexus.

Listen carefully, if you feel like you don't belong where you are. That you've tried everything. Make a new account. Buy the EXP boost and IP Boost. You should lvl up after 2 weeks of playing. Then after you place you'll see where you're supposed to be. Most new people start ranking right away when they are able thus they ruin their account by placing in bronze V and go lower and lower because they don't know how the game works.

I'm actually very ecstatic that i'm this far up and going further..

This is a prime example of why the MMR system needs to go. Your rank should be based on pure win/loss and every season all players should start at the same level. It's unfair to gift challenger/master/diamond players Platinum ranking after placements each season and then they simply play against each other all the way up the ladder back to challenger. It's a rigged system.

If you were to 10-0 in your placements after a hard reset, you sure as shit deserve Plat 1 starting. If you 0-10 in your placements after a hard reset you sure as shit deserve Silver V. If you 5-5 in your placements after a hard reset you sure as fucking shit deserve Gold V.

Matchmaking should be based on your win/loss ratio, not MMR.

I'm going to have to disagree with your opinion here, it's great that you climbed to gold on another account but you should be able to get at least silver on any bronze account if you did that regardless. The games aren't stacked against you because if you go into a game you're playing against bronze players, if you're the one that plays perfectly then the chance that you win is much higher than the chance that you lose. (because you're playing against players that don't know any better as well as with players that don't know any better)
