Kassadin is underrated

If you picked before the enemy Kassadin, how can you outplay him? Against AP champs he blocks all poke using his q which gives him a free magic shield and also trading back, buying corrupting pot keeps him alive the whole laning phase even if you do get some damage on him, has a silence that can cancel any midlanders channels and after he buys Rod of Ages he’s all but unkillable unless if you three manned him.

And then he scales super well into the late game, capable of oneshotting carries like a Diana and still able to get back out from sheer tankiness and his R being on such a short CD.

Asides from banning him, i don’t know how I can outplay kass (I’m a kat main, so if anyone knows how to play against him as kat please let me know.) [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Well kass is a counter to ap champs so thats already an uphill battle. I suggest a new champ. Or buy banshees veil hextech and spirit visage

You don't. Certain champs are meant to counter certain champs. Kat. is countered by kassa, and no item will change that unless the Kassa is an idiot. But in that case you should be able to win regardless.

What you can do is to learn a champion that has no common counter with your main. Look for a champ that has no counter, that also counters kata, and start practicing. There are several webpage about counters based on player votes.

Kassa's original counter was Talon, and as i see he is still on the list.

In your case Katarina's primary weakness is any form of CC, or/and large mobility. If her combo is blocked, or avoided, then you are in deep problems. Kassa counters her so good, because he got BOTH. I would suggest Mordekaiser. His sustain makes him less vulnerable to CC, and his pull works well against mobility. Fizz could also work. He only needs a very short timeframe to work, and he has a very good anti-cc mechanism with the untargetability. Last that comes in mind is GP. Not sure how he works against Kassa, but he is quite mobile, and slows enemy, and he doesn't give a ***k about CC.

Nah, he is not underrated. Everyone knows he autowins lane after 6(unless enemy is something broken too or outskills him greatly) and autowins game after 16(again, unless there is another broken lategame shit in the enemy team). Its just that there is too much broken shit everywhere so he is somewhat normal in comparition
