The new champion select is ruining my time as a mid/ jungle main

Ever since the new champion select teaser came out, I have been eager to try it. Imagine my disappointment when i queue up and face 30 minute wait times to get into champion select, let alone in game. The new banning system makes players frantic to get their counters banned, rather than working for the whole team. I'll admit, it looks really polished, but polished shit is still shit.
