Healthy Changes

I'm not good at explaining things, so I'll just skip straight to the point. In 5 years of playing this game, I have never found it more unenjoyable than I do now. I literally play Arena of Valor, and a few other mobile moba, and get the same exact experience I do here. I started playing League because I love strategy, true cooperation, tactics and planning, for lengthy battles that constantly leave me on my toes. Now, I only need to be 5 minutes in to know which team wins, and the game has been reduced to "first punch wins." Enough of my complaining. I have come up with a list of changes and adjustments that might bring back League proper, creating a more healthy, fun game that we all originally fell for.

Buff Towers

There really isn't anything else to say. The community has been begging Riot to do that for the past 2 years. I'm just confused as to why Riot hasn't already. Part of the reason that marksman have become obsolete is because towers are so easy to crush, with the whole point of having marksman being that they're responsible for taking objectives.

Nerf AD Items While AD champions on their own are another issue entirely, their items are the real issue. item 3147 is, by far, the biggest problem. Overall, I feel the best course of action would be to just lower their damage, an indirect nerf to assassins, but still keep up their passives for the sake of marksman. I don't play AD champions, so I don't really know what exactly should be done, this is just my educated guess.

Increase AP Itemization, and Buff

Assassins and other AD item reliant champions have a plethora of items to choose from, where on the other hand Mages and other AP champions are left with little to no choices. A lot of people complain that Mages need buffs, when in reality, it is their items. So many AP items are either so situational that their never of any use, or outright useless. Turning Guardian Angel into an AD item made it not worth buying on any Mage, taking away yet another item. item 3152 is, while a decent item stats wise, a joke of an active. Mages need more choices, specifically in regards to defense, with literally are only Armor choice being Zhonya's, unless you're building Tank/Mage, where are choices are increased to 2.

Adjust Assassins

While many think Assassins need nerfs, that's not really a good idea, as that would only give way to an all Mage meta. All assassins need is for some of their early game power to be pushed into their mid game, while still letting them fall off late game, if late game ever becomes a thing again. By power, I mean both their damage and mobility, shifting damage to mid game, as well as creating longer cooldowns for their dashes and other escape moves early game, not severly, but moderately. I don't ask for any hard nerfs, just adjustments.

Runes

This is a tricky area, as there are two ways in which Riot could go. The first option, which I think most people will agree with, is to go back to the old Rune and Mastery system entirely, which would be both effective, and simple. The other option, would be to nerf Precision and Domination runes, give a slight buff to Sorcery runes, and create better, more effective runes to choose from in Resolve. As you can probably guess, the second option would, probably, be much lengthier, might end up backfiring entirely. It really depends on whether or not Riot is willing to swallow their pride, admit they fucked up, and go back to the old Rune and Mastery system.

All of this is just an educated guess, made by myself, on what Riot should do to create a healthier, more enjoyable game. Bring back the old rune and mastery system alone might bring back thousands, or even hundred of thousands of older/original players, such as BrickyOrchid and magikarpusedfly.

The new Runes system is better than the old one. No more pay to win crap and it's simpler. However Riot shouldn't have launched it until it was finished. Right now it isn't. Half of the keystones are complete jokes that are optimal on maybe one or two champions. Resolve is incredibly bad with no unique ideas in it. Many champions don't have a good rune page to fit them while other champions do insanely well with their rune pages. Instead of addressing obvious problems with the Runes, they simply buff and nerf champions while ignoring that the real problems originate from the new Runes system that gives too much power to people who are aggressive. If Runes had more variety and was properly balanced, it would be healthy.
