hey I hate when toxic people or trolls start spamming the crap outta ping for no reason even when I mute them it still shows up and makes its sounds and etc. is there a way I can fix this without lowering the volume because I still want to be able to hear my other teammates pings and I don't want it to be affected cause some guy decides to troll and wont stop spamming

... yes, you can mute ping sounds. Just go to sound in settings...

In all those years with thousands of games i never once had my league sounds on.
I literally have no idea how anything sounds in league :)
I always listen to music or chill with mates on skype.
As long as it isnt tied in to the regular mute im all for that, but I still need pings from people i chat mute so maybe a separate toggle.
I want to mute my teammates in the lobby too. Those specific people that spam who they want banned and tries to take all 3 bans for out of meta champs. Or the guy who cries about autofill. Puts me in a negative state pretty early.
Especially when I mute everyone. They just spam with blue pings. So obnoxious.
Been complaining about this for a while. We need the ability to disable pings. Else I will get reported by a bunch of cry babies after I rage at them for spamming pings everywhere :)
yeah i have this problem too... hopefully they will implement it in the future :P
How about a ping limiter instead of total ping muting? ie: You would get one ping sound per (muted) person per 15 seconds maybe. You could also limit the ping symbols from the same person, but that might need to be higher for a person to ping three lanes at once for example.
This is a really good point. its sad when you try to mute them to close out the negative vibes so you can calm down and play better than they ping you like a billion times as if to say "WTF you doing!!!"
