Altho you should talk summoners too, ahri has to be a ton more careful when going ham against someone with exhaust due to her nature of a assassin -ish hybrid.

It hurts her mobility a lot and damage even more, given her focus on things those are bad for her.

Altho that does not help if she lands a max or near max range charm, she will unload most of her damage before it ends if that happens.

Just poke him early until you force out a Valkyrie. Don't eat Q's early game and don't stand in his E. I don't find it a hard match up until later in the game where you have to rely on 100-0'ing him which is cockblocked by Exhaust, unlike the laning phase where you can poke him down to 50% or so where an Exhaust won't stop an all-in if you hit your abilities.
