I just played a game in which I played kat and when the game finished I had the better stats in every aspect that our Irelia. Not even 1 piece of information where she had the upper hand. But at the end, she gets an S+ and I get an A. "Yes I had more farm than her, too!" And yes I had more kill participation as well. Even got a triple kill on my own. It's still eluding me, just how???
The ranks are based on how people perform on that champion in your elo bracket, if I remember how it works.
Basically people are performing in every aspect better on Katarina than Irelia, so comparing the two doesn't work.
It takes into effect every other game of that champion ever played by every player in the world. So kat is a common one to get stupid fed, so you need to get that stupid fed. Irelia isn't a very common one to get stupid fed because she's a front line, so deaths don't effect her AS MUCH as kat.
Grades are awarded based on the champion played in the role you're playing them in. What grade other people got on a different champion means nothing.
How have we had the grading system for so long and people still don't know that your grade is in comparison to other players on the same champ in the same role, and only that
it doesn't matter what your teammates did unless they were the same champion as you while sharing the same lane somehow
