Is Garen too strong now?

Hey lads. Do you think that Gayren is currently too strong right now? His dmg is high and it doesn't seem too falls off late game as it used to be in past when LoL was actually a fun game. His only weakness being easily to be kited seems kinda irrelevant with his tankiness and sustain which make him almost unkillable. His winrate (54%) and pickrate skyrocketed since path 8.13 so I think that Rito must have look at him. This is my personal opinion so do not be mad if you don't agree on any points.

What website are you using for that win rate?

These are the three sources most often used, and none of them show 54%.

If you dig a little deeper you'll see that Garen's increase in win rate has nothing to do with his own strength, and everything to do with what champions are being picked. This Garen that you're seeing is the same Garen that had a 49% win rate not too long ago, so please don't list his strengths and then claim that he is strong because of them.

The only reason Garen's win rate went up is because people are playing more champions that are weak to Garen. Garen himself is completely fine, and when the meta shifts back to more kite and less damage his win rate will go back down.
