Why doesnt Rito Care about balance?

I thought worlds was absolutely ruined this year by Fiora and GP. Instead of teams using target bans they just ban and pick OPs. I am told i shouldn't even bother jungling unless I use Reksai, Lee Sin, Nid or Elise. You only ever have about three adc's in the meta. And maybe four mids. Which in the pro scene right now looks a lot like Corki vs whoever.

Champs are so obviously ahead of other champs in power that they are openly referred to as "The OPs", even by casters. To me its embarrassing for Rito that they just go unerfed. I imagine it has something to do with sales.

I wouldn't mind using a tank in the jungle at some point as well. So tired of this meta and the same old OP picks. Its so important for the health of a game that things stayed balanced. But no, zed mid picked every game. Lee sin has been OP, literally, for years, cause Rito cant figure out that giving a champ three more abilities than everyone else is gonna be hard to balance. Not that there are any other junglers with that problem...

I look at the patch notes every time and almost never see anything consequential. But Alistar gets a sustain nerf, cause god knows he had so much mana to work with. Who is in charge over there? Maybe rework or buff sona or karma or Taric. Who all stink so bad its not even funny. But no, as long as there are two or three champs to pick form in each role we are fine. Cause braum, alistar and thresh is enough for me!

Well, i am off to learn elise an reksai jungles. Lord knows Rek'sai is never gonna be out of meta again.

Karma has been remade though, it's just not that many people were satisfied.

3 things:

  • Compared to other games, Riot's balancing is top tier
  • You can easily reach gold, maybe even plat, with ANY champion, if you just dedicate yourself to him.
  • Taric is the NEXT champion to get an overhaul. He has benn on the list for over half a year now, right after Poppy and Shen.

Learn the champions you like. You will get very far. The real power difference between some champions only becomes apparant in very high tiers of play, one that most of us will never reach. Because there the slightest advantage can be enough to win you the lane. But if you don't work on equal skill level, it barely matters. No champion matchup is ever 10% winrate or something, at worst it's like 40%, even in plat+

You're not at a point where picks really even matter. If you want to play a tank jungler, you can, as I have been for years even during periods where you rarely saw one.
