Yesterday, I purchased some tickets with RP to enter into Clash. My team won both games and my entry would carry on to today as well based on our performance. It's a bit of an arbitrary rule, but you must be honor 2 to join.

Between yesterday and today, my honor level fell from 2 to 1. A 10-game chat ban was put on my account.

I went ahead and played 14 games to get that chat ban off, but the honor will not reset anytime soon. In short, I'm unable to play Clash. This was an unfair punishment, not only for myself who paid the RP to participate, but for the 4 other people on my team who had done nothing wrong.

Immediately, I reached out to Riot with a ticket about this issue. That ticket never actually got an answer - though I was able to use live chat.

As I had played for years and this was a first-time offense, I asked for leniency first in the matter, which was denied. I had asked for my account to be reviewed as I do not feel the punishment was justified. Further, the game that I had been punished for, the straw that broke the camels back, had been over me telling our mid laner not to feed.

Regardless, I then asked if I could participate in the tournament then take the punishment. This was denied somewhat. They had told me that "Clash only looks at your Honor level on entry" and that when it came time for the match, that I could lock in.

I had asked for a refund over the tickets that I had purchased, in case I was not able to lock in. To be clear, this is a whopping total of 430 RP.

This was denied. I explained that these were purchased with the express understanding that I would be able to enter a Clash tournament and to win prizes based on my performance. Tencents stock price is at 408.00 at this posting. These tickets were less than $5 USD.

I went ahead and got on live chat prior to the match, following another Rioter's directions. I got into live chat 2 minutes early (which makes sense. You have thousands of people playing this game and only so many people on support staff. I didn't want my team in a mad panic and I wanted them to have the most time possible to replace me if need be.)

Instead of getting the help I was promised, I was banned from Live Chat without so much as a hello.

And, given less than a 30 minute window, my team was unable to find a replacement.

So in essence, I'm going to be punished for at least a months time from Honor 1 to 2. I have items that I paid for that I am unable to use for their intention. Riot refuses to comp me the whole $5 it's going to take to refund these tickets when god-only-knows how much money I've given them since I started playing. And four other people who did nothing wrong are unjustly punished for no actions that they took other than believing me when I told them a three Rioters had promised it was going to work.

While I'm typing this, I actually got another email response from a Rioter, claiming that there are other people who had this issue and that it worked fine.

So I'm out money, I can't play, I'm unfairly punished, and other people in the same situation are having a great time when I followed this Rioters directions only to sit here and do nothing.

I cannot even begin to put into words just how angry I am right now.

For what its worth, I've submitted a claim to the Better Business Bureau on these business practices. Bait and Switch is something that is morally frowned upon. I get it, Clash is in Beta, you had no idea of how this was going to work out.

I'm just asking for you to make it right. To them, even if you won't to me.

Clash is a glitch fest, multiple teams got dropped due to Sub glitches tonight... probably wouldn't have been able to play anyhow.

Love how last night they had the common courtesy of addressing glitches in a server announcement and set aside times for new registration. Tonight they completely ignored the multiple teams that faced not only the exact same problems... but new ones on top of that due to client errors.

The way they handled this entire event is disgusting. My entire team got together an hour early to plan things out and just watched helplessly as the counter hit 0 to lock in... due to glitches. Most of us went to play BETTER DEVELOPED games after out of frustration.

Nothing like having a P2P event that can't even function properly... Get your shit together Riot. People are fed up with you as a company and how bad your mismanaging your game... look at the population decline...
