There are so many times where this new Ryze one shots me, and its not even funny. Dude just presses EQ and does 1k damage and the CD is low too, it's just not fair to play against. Even after putting the guy down early, he still manages to come back and just one shot ADCS no matter what happened.
He has very low win ratio. Something like 45-46%.

They made his Early game weaker with the trade off being that he has an even better mid-late game. They took 2 of the 3 defensive tools he had (his shield & Insta-root, he has to combo his W & E to have access to his Root now), but they compensated by;
I've actually tried out Aftershock Tank Ryze (Seraph's/RoA into Tank items like Abyssals & Frozen Heart/Righteous Glory) and he still packs a punch.
I really just hate his instant Root. Otherwise I got no problems.

It's appalling that they nerfed the champion so much and people still complain.
I mean they completely dumbed down the kit of an already not too overcomplicated overpowered champion and buffed every aspect. Yeah.
He's just shredding teams by pressing EQ off cooldown and his laning phase while he now is more vulnerable is even more dumbed down by just EQing every wave nonstop.
Idk if i'd call that mini "rework" a success. While his instant root/shield/msboost gameplay is gone they added another layer of shitty gameplay against him. Atleast toplane has some room to breathe i guess.
