Jayce bug

Whenever Jayce switches to hammer form, the user that is playing Jayce and everyone in the game no matter if you can see him or not. The screen will freeze for a good second. Does this happen to everyone else? Everyone in my game was complaining that their screen was freezing. Riot disable Jayce and fix the bug?
