Let's talk about hecarim.

After the 5.24 nerfs to hecarim's hp and removing half of his passive, he is not in such a good spot right now ( 44.5% winrate according to: http://champion.gg/champion/Hecarim/Jungle ). I seriously think riot should revert the nerfs or at LEAST give back the ignore movement collision to his passive as he was already in a balanced state before 5.24. He feels so much worse to play both top lane and jungle because of the lack of unit collision (think of it as if riven could no longer animation cancel her Q.)

I am a plat Hecarim main. Here are the problems with Hecarim:

  1. Mana costs are insane in the jungle for the first clear. If W cost 10 less mana it would make a significant difference in his clear health with zero effect on his top lane.

  2. He doesn't do enough damage before Triforce since Warrior's arpen got removed. LW is no longer a damage item option and Black Cleaver is just as expensive as Triforce with a far worse build path, so if you fall behind you are screwed. Runeglaive is gone. Iceborn Gauntlet just does no damage. This forces players to go Cinderhulk/Triforce as the only option.

  3. Hec has to build damage to do damage and build tank to be tanky. He has no inherent stats. But building damage scales terribly since his Q is only 60% bonus AD (even though its on a 2 second CD late game, most AD casters spells scale way better) and E is only 50% bonus AD... on a spell with 20 sec CD. Increase scaling on Q to 70% and E to 50% total AD, and he might do enough damage to make it worth.

The nerfs were for his top lane, not jungle. I agree, his jungle is a bit weak atm

well the passive nerf doesnt really hurt his jungling as it was really only (ab)used to trade in lane and back off through your minions. it was just stupid.

oh and the main reason he is so weak right now is that with the new masteries, everyone is super squishy and hecarim is a DPS fighter and with this squishyness, he simply doesnt have the time to use his power. if he gets ahead early, he can build damage and instagib people too but ofc "getting ahead" is not a valid strategy anyways.

remove the cap of healing on his W, it has 24 seconds cooldown
