Question about Provisionals

Cyclone2··1 votes·526 views

For a player who has just recently hit lv 30 and started playing ranked games, what are the general wins/losses during provisionals that determine whether you get into bronze, silver, and gold. To be sure, how you do in game does not affect anything, correct? Just the raw wins and losses count.

What about for players that have been in previous leagues during past seasons?

You probably won't get placed in gold because you just hit lvl 30.

Nothing of what I was looking for.

It's not a matter of set wins that gets you to a tier/division. Placement matches still use and modify your MMR. If you win 8 games and lose 2, you still won't have the same MMR of everyone who wins 8 games and loses 2.

MMR applies to non-ranked games as well? Because it's my first time playing ranked and i thought I didn't have an MMR to begin with.

All modes have a separate MMR. Baseline is reportedly 1200.
