Am I the only one upset about the Alistar Change?

Why does riot insist on making this game easier to play? Honestly, Ali was one of the most rewarding champions in the game to play and master. Being able to hit a headbutt-pulverize combo perfectly was one of the best feelings in the game, especially as a support. Yet, riot has to make it completely skill-less. Just like Lee-Sin was 'too hard' so they had to change his ult to make him noob friendly so he could ult tanks, instead of taking skill to get to the back line. Being able to show champion mastery is one of the aspects that I believe brings people to play this game. While game knowledge and knowing when to engage is incredibly important, being able to execute a champion to it's maximum ability allows for even more play making prowess and pride. Making the game easier really takes the fun and pride of hard work out of the game. I practiced Ali for a long time to master that combo. When I first started playing him I would headbutt to minions next to champions to ensure I could would land a q. I practiced and gained confidence to land a combo and it was extremely rewarding. Making the game easier to play ruins so many aspects that drew such a loyal fan base to the game in the first place. Not a fan Riot.

I don't like it when they make champions easier to use. They made Syndra easier to use. More people picked her up. She got too popular. Riot nerfed her in ways other than what they changed to break her. Now she sits in the landfill.

The heal nerf though is very welcome. His heal plus targons is borderline broken. In all seriousness he can out heal almost every champion except Soraka in lane.

I found Ali rewarding due to recognizing when it's appropriate to Q, W, WQ, or QW. I never found getting the stupid timing right on WQ to be rewarding in the slightest.

The main reason behind the change is because you could really only Headbutt -> Pulverize if you had decent ping, if you had too much lag you couldnt do it at all, which makes it unfair to players who dont have/cant afford good internet. Making it easier to combo, makes it fair across the board.

Not gonna enjoy facing Alistair in bot lane now.

Oh wait, I never did.

I used to be an Alistar main and I practiced a lot to get that combo down and I did, but It never was reliable for me. I'd do it 4, 5 or 6 times and then with no discernible reason the next time they would fly away and the pulverise hit nothing.

I'm pretty happy tbh. I love the Alistar changes. Makes the game a bit more fun.

Before 6.3 comes out, do me a huge favor. Alright?

Go Alistar support.

Go Windspeakers.

Rush Frozen Heart.

Enjoy healing ALL minions and champions for a boosted heal that gives AR/MR to all champions that are healed.

Let them kill minions.

Go again.

That's literally how unfun bottom lane is against Alistar at the moment.

Since the missile speed change, the combo is luck and nothing else. There is simply no way to currently get it consistently.

I will grant you that the specific change is stupid, though. What should have happened is an increase to the duration that Alistar can't do anything while using Headbutt to match the time it takes to reach his target.
