How do i close out games?

i have had multiple games recently that ive taken down everything but the nexus at about 30 minutes in, and my team ends up refusing to group afterwards and we end up stalling the game out to the point that the enemy team gets full build, outscales us then ends up winning more than an hour into the game, how am i supposed to close out games?

try with strong backdoors, when your team does something stupid, use it to go alone in the enemy base and take the nexus while they fight 4 vs 5 one at a time (obviously you need to have a lot of vision and some towers up for that to work, you also need strong splitpushers to do that else you will be too slow). But really, if the team refuses to play as a team there's nothing one person alone can do, if they don't want to understand, the game it's lost, just accept that.

i really dont know what to do, because it happens almost every game i lose, we will be up 5 or 6 turrets then my team starts playing defensively, i dont understand

If you play strong splitpushers, like I said, just try to backdoor when the enemy is pushing. If your team is just defending they should be able to buy you some time, meaning you will take at least one or two inhibs or the nexus if it's open. But remember you gotta be carefull when backdooring, when they are backing to stop you make them waste time and escape just at the last second, so that you can pressure something else while they're in base.

Depends on your champion picks and team comp. But trying to get objectives whenever possible will always help. Got a good split push comp? Make use of it ans punish those side lanes!

Got those lanes pushed up and drag is up? Go for it.

Good team fight comp? After lane towers are down, group up and wreck them!

It all depends on each game. Some are harder to close out cause they have good stall champions like Azir or Anivia.

For the specific situaton you described, if your team manages to distract them, go for a backdoor if possible. Try to use your team's stupidity to your advantage. If you can't do that, try to help with whatever objective it is they do want. Better to help your ream with a stupid idea and maybe turn it around than let your team all die while you don't get anything in return.

alt F4, or rotate like a mother and lead your team by example.
