Hi, so recently I did my promos in Flex Que and I did alright with a nice round 6/4. I am a Silver player who strives to be better. Now, here's the thing...

Throughout the entire promo I was fighting grueling fights with Gold, Platinum, and even Diamond players. So, it came to my surprise when I was promoted to Silver 2? So, Riot... You mean to tell me that you don't think somebody who used a ton of teamwork and cooperation with their team, who fought his hardest fight against a obviously higher ELO doesn't deserve Gold? I know what you're going to say "Well you can just grind to Gold" although that is valid and true. I just found it rather... odd... That I was given Silver 2 after playing 10 games with Diamond, Platinum, and Gold players and even going positive in the W/L ratio.

What are your thoughts? Soraka

They were gold/plat/diamond in dynamic presumably, but they aren't necessarily at that level of play in flex which is more team oriented. So an organised squad of 5 mechanically silver players with strong macro play could quite likely beat 5 random plats for example.

In theory anyway. Placements and ranked in general is a bit messy for the first while until people get closer to where they belong.

I'm gold 3 and after promos going 6/4 (2 losses due to DC of team) and I get silver 5

It's fucked, lol
