I don't know how to start this well but, I was recently very tilted in my past few matches and to top it off i met a 
main. I got curb stomped... I was playing as 
and I'm looking for help on how to play against as or any other mage.

GarthBrooksXD1 votesfizz counters lux cuz he can dash around and e to avoid skillshots and lasers. lux can try to win early by zoning fizz out of farm with constant harass cuz he needs to be in melee to farm. better to play annie against him. but if you insist on lux make sure you have mr glyph and scaling hp seals and rush zhonya or abyssmal scepter and take exhaust or barrier as a summoner and just expect him to play aggressively with his ult when he hits 6. if he does land ult on you dont panic, wait for him to e then land then root him to get away.

A: use his E on cd to avoid being bullied out of lane
B: Save hiE like a good fizz would until he can engage cause you just wasted an ability on poke.
You need to determine what he is going to do out of these two scenarios, of course the obvious thing starts in champ select.
Just, take it, please, I see so many people take it thinking, nah I'll just take 
that I love so much and realize that his E takes away half of the use of barrier because of hang time, or they think they will farm from a distance...........................................................................farm from a distance, against fizz............................ and let him free farm........................ till 6............... where he all in's you and you die. Never a good idea. I personally believe farming is good, (duh, but you need to do two things, if he is saving his e for all ins, you should be poking, shoving, and roaming, if you do this properly, he won't be able to match your wave clear, he can't match the roam cause he will be to far behind, and if he uses his e for wave clear.... poke him even more, then shove, and roam.
But Please, whatever you do, over and never try to 1 v 1 him, you will lose, unless he is garbage
