Fiddlesticks Rework
The crow has been on the rift for a very long time, and has brought fear to his enemies from the Jungle up until recently. Although the new balance changes help the Crow keep up, he is still sitting in the bottom tier of Junglers, but the meta needs more dangerous AP junglers and this rework would do the trick. Lemme know what you think :)
Passive - Unchanged
Q - Terrify - Fiddlesticks releases a cone of slow moving fear on to the ground that fears champions or non lane minion who touch it for (x) seconds. If Q is held down the cone narrows and the fear spread speeds up. Once fully charged the fear is instead shot in a straight line skill shot that fears the first target struck for (x) seconds (the longer the fear channel the longer the duration on fear.)
W - Drain - Fiddlesticks roots himself in the ground (like a scarecrow :p) for (x) seconds and begins dealing (x) amount of damage to all enemies within a certain distance from Fiddle. As fiddle remains rooted the distance of the drain grows with time, and so does the damage. Fiddle heals for (x) amount of damage done. While rooted if Fiddlesticks casts his ult the root will break as the ult goes off, but the drain remains active for its duration unless fiddle is cc'd.
E - Dark Wind - Fiddlesticks releases a slow moving skill shot crow to target area. When the skill shot reaches it's destination a flock of crows spawns and deals (x) amount of damage per second and silences all enemies in the zone (or slows). The further the crow flys the larger the zone, and the longer it lasts.
R - Unchanged (except for being able to have drain active if channeled during the root)
I'd also like to add some concepts to each idea.
To better explain the fear would be slow moving on the ground if quick cast and would fear anyone who steps on it but only for half duration. The longer you channel the fear the more narrow the cone will become and the quicker it moves across the ground while making the fear duration longer until it becomes a straight shot fear which would have a double duration and would fear everyone in that line or the first target hit depending on the balancing issues seen by riot.
the drain would immobilize fiddle, and it would be something he couldn't back out of once cast, but he would be able to cast while channeling the drain unlike now, and he could break his root with an ult cast, and maybe you could combo it to keep the drain running while he is casting his ult to give him the ability to move while draining during his ult, but cc should still interrupt the drain, but the ult would keep running if the casting channel completed like now.
The dark wind would have to have a long range cast, and would give fiddle more room to set up ganks and affect lanes better from the jungle. I think the silence may be replaced with a slow or just a low duration silence from the first time taking damage, but it is something fiddle is really lacking. He really only has one play right now and that is to ult in or walk in and fear the primary target and then hope you can burst the target down before they get away. Giving him chase potential or better set up opportunities is crucial to making fiddle a top tier jungler. He could toss out Dark Wind before he ults in trying to cut off escape routes or clump teams up, but more importantly it would give him options and set up opportunities to go in rather then just hoping for the other team to make a mistake or over step.
I think that changes like these would work for fiddle much better, and actually go along with what he is supposed to feel like. He is supposed to be something very scary you really don't want to get close to, but has plenty of counter play from range or with cc which would interrupt his drain and ult like it does now. It would also take away his point and click abilities, and make him more reliant on skill shots, and proper set up of AOE abilities which I think is the corner stone of what Fiddlesticks brings to the fields of justice.
