This is also blatantly wrong. One report per game is just as powerful as nine reports per game. The system is this way to prevent the exact scenario you are describing here.

Not going to happen. Read the terms and conditions you agree to twice every patch, and you'll realize that no lawyer with a brain would expect to win a case for you against Riot. Riot owes you nothing, and no rights are being infringed on.

I'd say that removing negative players from the game makes the majority of players happy.
Banning "toxic" people isn't your 'solve all problems' solution. Banning the trolls is. But whatever enjoy scamming people.
Trolls are by definition toxic people as well. Trolls get banned too. Thing is, trolls don't try to argue their bans on the forums because they KNOW that nobody will support them. Verbal abusers however have some sort of sick little fraternity on the forum that thinks the mute button means they don't need to be held accountable for what they say in what is essentially a public space. Thank goodness Riot disagrees with them.
And again, there is no scam here. Only an undesirable being shown the door. Nobody forced you to pay money in this free game. Nobody forced you to lash out at people in chat. Nobody forced you to ignore any and all warnings about your behavior being unacceptable. Either grow up, or shut up. Either one of those options would have allowed you to avoid your ban.
