I have just been permanently banned for "Toxicity" but I know for a fact that everyone else who was toxic in that game didn't even get a 2 week ban. I'm tired of being the victim to trolls, toxic players, etc. I have spent around $250 on this damn game, and for what; to be treated like shit? Disrespected? Banned for having an opinion? I would like to speak to someone about either having my hard earned money either transferred to my bank account or to be given a "second chance" for being called trash, shit and every fucking name in the book. If my money isn't returned or my account isn't available to me that is considered stealing.

K so let's go over some things here.

I have just been permanently banned for "Toxicity" but I know for a fact that everyone else who was toxic in that game didn't even get a 2 week ban.

The report systems essentially view each player in a vacuum, to remove the possible bias or incriminating external factors from each case. If you were banned, it means that the system (and community) viewed your behavior as something no longer desired in the playerbase.

Focusing on whether or not other people have been punished is pointless, because their behavior has no bearing whatsoever on how toxic your behavior may have been.

I'm tired of being the victim to trolls, toxic players, etc. I have spent around $250 on this damn game, and for what; to be treated like shit? Disrespected? Banned for having an opinion?

You were not banned for having an opinion, you were banned for expressing that opinion in such a way that it broke the code of conduct Riot has established for the community. Do you happen to have chat logs you could show us?

I would like to speak to someone about either having my hard earned money either transferred to my bank account or to be given a "second chance" for being called trash, shit and every fucking name in the book. If my money isn't returned or my account isn't available to me that is considered stealing.

I highly recommend reading the ToS/EULA and basic civil law. You are not entitled to any ownership over the content you purchase in this (or any) game, as your account is considered to be owned by Riot Games and leased to you. Riot is not stealing from you in any possible sense of the word, because they own the game and your account.

There are also specific clauses in this documentation that state Riot can revoke access to an account for any or no reason. Riot is a reputable company, so the only time this is really used is when someone breaks their rules. By creating an account you agreed to all of this, and these terms are pretty standard across all multiplayer games.

If my money isn't returned or my account isn't available to me that is considered stealing.

It doesn't work like that. The transaction is to buy RP, which can be used for a variety of things. once the transaction is complete, the currency becomes a separate thing.

It's like when you go to the county fair and buy a whole bunch of tickets to ride the rides. What you choose to do with those tickets is up to you. You could throw them in the trash and it wouldn't be the fair's fault. You could get drunk, throw a punch at one of the other attendees and get thrown out.

Sorry bro, you clicked accept to the terms of service, therefore you are accepted into the "up poops creek".

Scryer12/13/2015, 6:56:52 AM5 votes

You put "unwrongfully" meaning, not wrongfully, hence rightfully.. lmao

PIMPSMOOTH12/13/2015, 5:07:08 AM4 votes

LOL another one who thinks spending some coin entitles them to be a jerk to the community and above the rule set. Retaliating to trolls is equally as punishable as toxicity per Riot so there's zero chance you were banned wrongfully, as Riot uses a tier system of warnings, restrictions and temp bans before sending your ass packing so it's clear they all went ignored.

Post the reform card.

Spending money on this game does not make you immune to being banned. In the Terms of Service you agreed to when making your account you agreed that your account was the property of Riot and you owned none of it. It isn't considered stealing for them to not return your account or refund your money. Legally, you got what you paid for, the RP.

  1. Why didn't you hit the Mute button to not make yourself a victim voluntarily?

  2. Post your Chat Logs here. The fact that you didn't post it already causes tons of suspicions that you were in fact lying.

  3. There's no need to mention stuffs about how much you spent on your account. You only paid for their merchandise, not a "Ban-Immunity" account status.

Would be nice to see some chatlog. With permabans you would have needed to accumulated some Chat Restrictions, and Temp bans, along with Warning of being reported in your games. Those alone should have been enough warnings to change your attitude. And like others have said just because you spent money on this game doesnt make you immune to punishment if you were toxic. Plus you dont know if the other people who were toxic were punished in some way unless you have access to their accounts, let alone if they were the ones involved in reporting you.

All in all there is nothing you can do. Its not considered stealing because you accepted their terms of services. You in turn decided upon yourself to not respect that agreement by being toxic towards other people. it doesnt matter who started it. you should have been the bigger person and ignore it, mute the person and report them afterwards. Being toxic towards them because they were toxic towards you solve nothing. it would be like someone talking badly about you. You can chose to ignore it, or fight that person. If you chose to fight with that person both would probably end up in jail/court, ban from where ever you started the fight (if it was say at a store) and pay for any damages if you cause them.

People are going to be jerks. just like in real life. You should have the mindset to ignore them and go on with your life. I dare you to find a game that doesnt have any type of toxic people. MMO, FPS, MOBA, Fighting, any type of Genre has their fair share of toxic people/behavior. This isnt only catered towards Riot, or League of Legends. Your attitude wouldnt be acceptable in any type of game community, or any real life scenario, So why do you think you should have special privileges in this game?

Awkward Couch12/13/2015, 7:59:27 AM2 votes

Well I would submit a ticket here. That would be a place to start. Recently there was a player who was permabanned because they were punished twice by accident. Maybe that's what happened here but submitting a ticket would be a place to start.

You come in here, say you were wrongfully banned, and you won't even post your reform card? Give me a break.

Post your reform card or it didnt happen!

Zombiemaster12/13/2015, 5:55:43 AM1 votes

If you truly believe you were wrongfully punished, would you mind posting your reform card? We might be able to give you someone insight on what triggered the punishment.

Tract12/13/2015, 8:59:43 PM1 votes

Please post your logs if you want any help. And when you agreed to the ToS you agreed Riot had the right to suspend your account according to your behavior.
