What the Holy-Heck Riot (Veigar Edition)

Veigar

Alrighty Riot, today a question has to be asked. What. Have you done. To Veigar.

In a desperate attempt to change the long-running Tank Meta, you decided to make some mid-season changes to an underwhelming population, the Mages. With this update, some cool items were introduced and the Dragon/Drake implementation went off without a hitch, but you lads on the Dev-Teams and PBE servers made one, blindingly large mistake. Veigar, the new Perma-Ban of LoL.

With his play-testers having either overlooked his invincibility, or the employees releasing his updates hating fun, this creature of doom was born to the Rift in a volly of Rage-Quits and salt. A monster who, by 20 minutes in the game, easily has 600 total AP, ad can one hit anything without the word "Tank" in its definition. By 30 minutes, Veigar is a god amongst champions, using his ultimate to instantly melt any single champion, and his Dark Matter to make team fights utterly unmanageable.

My only question Riot, is why? Why did you allow something so obviously "Broken" and "OP" into the Rift? Did you not listen to the players in the PBE? Did nobody mention that this was a bad idea? I cannot fathom a reason that the midget of endless AP and doom should have ever managed to find a spot on the Rift.

Please Riot, understanding full and well that the next patch is the communities only hope to rid the rift of this unholy child, hear my plee, and nerf his tiny purple ass back to something tangible.

Much love,

A Salty Sam.

Look, if you're having trouble laning against an immobile mage with cast times and delays on his abilities, you need to get better at mid lane. Veigar is the weak kid you beat up on the play ground that hits the gym and comes back in high school to seek revenge. Don't let him get big. He's mid lane Nasus.

At least make it so he stops getting AP off of kills too. He's already going to get beyond enough with Q and getting AP just for hitting spells. I like the idea, but keeping his additional AP on kills/assists just adds too much snowballing instead of a more reliably consistent curve.

I voted "I do not like fun" simply because it was an option.

Idk if he's OP or not. I only fought one earlier, and I don't think he was having a good game. I'd like more time before passing judgement.
