Mikeal's Crucible active should be lowered to 120 second cooldown..

The fact that its still 180 seconds is astonishing it literally double or triples most items in the game, and it is the longest active item cooldown in the game. It has never really bounced completely back from when it used to cost 1600 gold which made it too strong early. This would help its mid to late game some. Even if it's cooldown becomes 120 seconds with masteries the cooldown is 96 seconds. That is if you take them which isn't ALWAYS the case. Even then if you lowered the cooldown to just 150 seconds with masteries the cooldown would be 120 seconds. A change like this would not make the item super op like when it was so cheap, and could be obtained basically as your first item. The game has changed so much since 2012 when the item was released this change just seems simple and logical to me.

120 is too short for that active. They purposely want it costing alot because its just one more way to give the carry peel. Carries already can get massive peel and many have self peel.

I'd delete the item; let the carries rely on their team's kits strengthened with actual stats instead of this pretense item. And i'll remind people that if it's deleted, the other team also doesn't have it, hence balance is kept. Carries already have more than enough peel as it is, why burden the supports with this... thing?

The reason why Support players at every elo like to build full mage/full tank is because support items tend to suck (even overlooking Sightstone which is an issue of its own and the GP5 items which are amazing), or just fall into one or the other. Build Locket or Frozen Heart on a Sona? Screw that, get Morello's to deny healing or Rylais to help slow peeps. On a Leona? Every damn game, those items are amazing. Actually, so amazing that both top and jungle have it right now. Hmmmmmm.

Supports need a separate ressource than AP or AD to scale with, if you're looking solely from the item's point of view. Or items with dedicated support passives (Hi Zeke's!) and actives while STILL having a decent stat amount so their kits don't feel irrelevant in terms of scaling.

It's got such a high cooldown because its active is so good.

It's basically got a QSS active that can be casted on allied champions AND heals them for a % of their maximum health. QSS active is 90 seconds, and the ability to target allies with it and the healing portion would probably make it worth its 180 second cooldown.
