I've made this thread for one purpose.

I am going to defend Zed in a future thread. I am going to explain why he's in a weak state now and needs buffs, and even though I play immobile mages I can understand that Zed needs help and is only hated because of his outplay.

I will explain his kit and tell you that he has plenty of counterplay, you just have to play against him well.

But to do that, I need you guys to dump all the salt you have towards Zed in this thread, and later I will compile it all and address as many as I can on the next thread.

EDIT: One more thing, any Zed mains are welcome to share their thoughts about Zed's state right now, and if you have any horror stories to tell about how bad he is, feel free to share them as well.

My only complaint about Zed is that he goes 2-14 when he is on my team yet goes 14-2 when he is on the enemy team. How can we address this ? I want him to go 14-2 on my team.

Dat point at click untargetability ult. Unlimited return range to his shadows after ult. All dat energy harass and easy ass last hitting with his passive.

And seeing him ult and burst the tank when he's fed like it's just another squishy.

I know a friend that hates Zed to the core of his soul (he mains squishy mages) so I've seen the salt first hand.

Never had too big a problem since if there's a decent front line it's extremely difficult to get the jump on anyone for him. He plays more like an ad mage than an assassin at times, just with a lot more mobility, try to harass and poke with shadows while all ining when they get low enough.

Personally as a Zed main I feel that Zed should have a bit of his power shifted from his Q to E, (not enought you go E Q or tank zed, just a slight nudge) Because right now your E is padding for your combo just to proc thunderlords and slow them for the Q's Also I dont have any horror stories to share, Personally I think zed ult is actually in need of a buff ult lvl 1 you get at most 9 ad from the opponet and you need to faker the shit out of them, or be poking them for like 4 years before you can get the kill, but when you do it you snowball far to hard far to fast TL:DR Zed needs some powershifts and slightly less snowball, I want to get to late game occasionally its a true test of skill

No, Zed is hated for having no ressource issues abnd having such a strong and reliable poke on such low cooldown, meaning not only he can burst you down, but also can push you out of lane just by poking.

He also has an easy time lasthitting, contrarly to most assassins (Except new leblonk and full AP Ekko, but who plays full AP Ekko).

His weakness is his weaker assassination tools compared to other assassins (LB presses E and removes 2/3 of your health) and the amount of skill needed to do so. But he has the other strengths I showed before, and I do think he'll become completly broken again if he gets buffed.

I don't mind him having the mobility to go in when he chooses, it's the getting out that annoys me. If he goes in he should die like Talon, Rengar, Akali etc.

I suppose I should take Talon and Rengar off this list though since Rengar just kills everyone now, and Talon jumps over 12 walls. Akali then. Let Zed die like Akali.
