Ended B1, 7-3 placements = B5

I am a support main who realized climbing is hard as support, so I switched to Mid/Jg and at the end of the season when I made the switch managed to get to B1 at the end. Just finished my placements going 7-3, the first game I was blessed with an AFK which was a loss. But.. 7-3 and I get placed in B5? Is the first game weighted really heavily or something? The last game of placements consisted of 3 silver players on each side and we won. I'm not going to stop playing, but this is really disheartening. I really thought that since I was playing with Silver players I would get placed back in B1 or B2 at the least.. really didn't expect to get placed at the very bottom.

It's called a reset for a reason, you'll be placed lower than you were before regardless of what you do. Like seriously do non of you guys read ANYTHING riot posts at all? I can't even count how many times riot says in various posts and patch notes each pre season that you'll be placed lower than you were before. Without fail every single season people spam the boards with "Wtf I was placed lower" posts as if they're some how shocked at the exact thing they were told that would happen, happening.

Is this fair? Yes, it's meant to put people where they need to be. If you have what's necessary to climb back up then you will, if you don't then you'll stay at the rank you were given or drop lower.
